CEAT has appointed Rahul Gama as Senior Vice President – Human Resources.
Gama has over two decades of experience, having worked across South-East Asia, the Middle East, Africa, the USA, Latin America and the Indian Sub-continent across multiple sectors. He is knowledgeable about operations in industries like FMCG, Services, Luxury Retail and Manufacturing, along with consulting.
Prior to joining CEAT, Gama was a part of Pidilite Industries. He took up the role of the company’s Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) in June 2024.
For over 14 years, Gama was associated with the Godrej Group. He joined Godrej Consumer Products in June 2010 and served as CHRO until June 2022. This was followed by Gama serving as Group Head – HR Experience Centre & Technology, CHRO – Godrej Agrovet for Godrej Group from June 2022 to May 2024.
From July 2009 to July 2010, Gama was with Sara Lee as Vice President – Human Resources. He was also affiliated with Marico from February 2000 to July 2009 as Head – Corporate HR. Additionally, Gama was Manager – HR for Arvind Limited from June 1997 to March 2000. He has a Master’s in HR Management from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management and a Diploma in Labour Law from Symbiosis Law School, Pune.
