Thoughtworks has named Pradnya Kulkarni as its new Head of People for India, reinforcing the company’s focus on building an inclusive, people-first organisation as it continues to expand its presence in the country.
In her new role, Kulkarni will lead the India people agenda, with responsibility for culture, diversity, equity and inclusion, leadership development and scalable people practices. She will work closely with business leaders to strengthen high-performing, inclusive teams and support Thoughtworks’ long-term growth in India’s dynamic technology landscape.
Kulkarni has worked across organisations such as Telstra, Western Union, UBS, ANZ, HSBC, Tech Mahindra and KPIT Cummins. Most recently, she was Principal of Business Strategy and Operations at Telstra in India, where she operated at the intersection of business strategy, transformation and execution.
Earlier in her career, she led regional talent, learning, culture and transformation mandates across financial services and technology organisations, building leadership capability and people frameworks at scale.
With her strong background in strategic HR partnering, organisational transformation and culture building, Kulkarni is expected to play a key role in advancing Thoughtworks’ commitment to inclusive leadership, strong values-driven culture and sustainable people practices across its India operations.
