Schneider Electric has promoted Salil Raheja to Director-Total Rewards and Performance.

“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Director-Total Rewards and Performance at Schneider Electric!” Raheja shared on LinkedIn.

With over 16 years of experience, Raheja is known for driving portfolio across HR business partnering, talent management, organisation simplification, and employer brand amplification. He is a Hogan Certified Coach and has been honoured by ETHR among Emerging HR Leaders in 2025, Business World as one of the HR 40 Under 40 in 2023, by TA Pai Management Institute & People Consulting as Young HR Leader 2023 and by People Matters and DDI as an Emerging Future HR Leader in 2016.

Raheja has been with Schneider Electric for eight years. He started working for the company in January 2018 as General Manager-HR. In October 2021, Raheja was appointed as Senior General Manager-HR, which was followed by his ascension to Director-HR in July 2023.

For over eight years, Raheja was also associated with Essar. He joined the company in October 2009 as a Management Trainee. He was promoted to Regional Manager HR- North in July 2010. In April 2011, he became Manager-HR, followed by his promotion to Senior Manager-HR Business Partner in April 2012.

In October 2013, Essar was appointed as Senior Manager-HR (HRBP-Corporate functions, Talent Management, Performance & Rewards). He was then given the role of Deputy General Manager-Human Resources in April 2015, and he held it until January 2018. In the past, Raheja has also worked for Tata Capital and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).
