Unilever has promoted Prateek Shrivastav to Head HR – Personal Care Business, R&D and Organization Effectiveness COE.

Shrivastav has been with Unilever for over 11 years. He joined the company in May 2014 as a Management Trainee in the Unilever Future Leaders Program and then became Plant HR Head in April 2015. In January 2017, Shrivastav was promoted to the role of HR Business Partner – Supply Chain India.
In January 2020, Shrivastav was given the position of Senior Manager – Compensation & Benefits. This was followed by him becoming Lead – Talent, Organization Effectiveness & HR Analytics in July 2022, a role he held until 2024. Shrivastav also served as Head HR – R&D, Organization Effectiveness, Workforce Transformation & People Analytics from May 2024 to December 2025.
Prior to Unilver, Shrivastav has also been associated with companies like McKinsey & Co, having worked there as an Analyst, India Sourcing Centre, Purchasing & Supply Management Practice from November 2010 to May 2012. He has an MBA in Human Resources Management from XLRI Jamshedpur.
