API Holdings Appoints Shashi Tiwari as CHRO

API Holdings has appointed Shashi Tiwari as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

In his new role, Tiwari will be leading the people strategy of the company, focusing on strengthening organisational capability, elevating people practices, and building a future-ready organisation. Tiwari had two decades of experience with an expertise in talent strategy, HR transformation and fostering an inclusive culture that drives business success.

Tiwari is looking forward to his new position. “API Holdings is at a very exciting phase of its growth journey, and its mission of simplifying healthcare deeply resonates with me,” he stated. “I look forward to partnering with the leadership team to build a strong, people-first organisation where talent can grow, teams can do their best work, and business continues to create meaningful impact in healthcare.”

Prior to joining API Holdings, Tiwari had been with Glenmark Pharmaceuticals for over a decade. He joined as Global Head – Compensation and Benefits in October 2015 and then became Vice President – Performance & Rewards in July 2018. This was followed by his ascension to Vice President of Human Resources in January 2019. In July 2022, Tiwari became Senior Vice President of Human Resources.

For over 8 years, Tiwari had been associated with Infosys. He started as Senior Lead – Global Compensation and Benefits in December 2006. In October 2011, Tiwari was appointed as Global Compensation Design & Policies Lead and Head – APAC & MEA Compensation and Benefits. He became Head – Compensation and Benefits (EMEA, APAC & Infosys Subsidiaries) in October 2014.
