Motilal Oswal Appoints Monimoy Bhattacharya As Senior VP &Head Compensation & BenefitsMotilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd. (MOFSL) has appointed Monimoy Bhattacharyya as the new Senior Vice President & Head, Compensation & Benefits. In the new role, he will lead the company’s compensation & benefits strategy, aligning reward structures with business goals, strengthening governance and compliance frameworks, and enabling transparent, agile HR operations as the company continues to grow and evolve.

Bhattacharya will bring a broad track record of implementing strategic compensation, performance and HR-technology systems across major financial and corporate institutions.

Bhattacharyya joins MOFSL after accumulating rich experience at several leading organisations, including HDFC Bank, Aditya Birla Health Insurance Company Limited, Mahindra Finance, Polycab India Limited, and Capgemini, where he managed diverse and large-scale HR transformation programmes spanning compensation design, performance management, HR governance, technology implementation, and analytics-led decision making.

At HDFC Bank, Bhattacharyya managed compensation and performance systems through collaboration with senior management and key stakeholders, establishing data-backed, transparent, and regulation-compliant reward frameworks. 

At Aditya Birla Health Insurance, he strengthened organisation structures and enabled workforce analytics capabilities for strategic HR insights.

Over his career, he has also gained hands-on experience with major HR-technology platforms — including SAP SuccessFactors and Oracle HCM — and has managed the deployment of employee self-service portals, variable-pay systems, and job-architecture frameworks across multiple business units.
