Zenex Animal Health has appointed Nitendra Patel as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In the new role, he will be expected to build a robust, future-ready workforce.
Patel brings over two decades of HR leadership and strategic human capital experience. He began his career in 2001 as Assistant Manager – Human Resources at Torrent Pharmaceuticals. Over the years, he progressed across several major organisations, namely, Wockhardt, Zydus Cadila, and Biotech Vision Care.
In April 2014, he joined Biotech Vision Care as VP, Human Resources. Two years later, he transitioned to Symphony Limited, where he held progressive leadership roles, including Associate Vice President HR, Vice President HR, and was later elevated to CHRO in September 2022.
On December 03, 2025, Symphony announced his resignation from the CHRO role, effective end of business that day, paving the way for his move to Zenex Animal Health.
His mandate reportedly includes building leadership capability, nurturing a culture aligned with organisational values, and supporting Zenex’s next phase of growth.
Zenex’s leadership welcomed his arrival, noting his diverse experience across the pharmaceutical, biotech, and consumer durable sectors, a spectrum that is likely to enrich Zenex’s HR and organisational capabilities as it scales.
