Tata Steel has promoted Utkarsh Bhardwaj to Head HRM ER & TM (Manufacturing).

Bhardwaj has been associated with Tata Steel for over 11 years. He started working for the company in April 2014 when he joined as a Management Trainee. In June 2014, he was elevated to the role of Manager HRM Talent Management. This was followed by Batra being assigned as Senior Manager, IR Establishment in July 2017. In July 2022, Bhardwaj became Head HRM IR & Rewards (NOPR) for Tata Steel, a position he had held until his recent promotion.
From April 2013 to June 2013, Bhardwaj was a Summer Intern at Wipro. He has also worked for Indiabulls Power from June 2010 to June 2012 as a Senior Engineer. Bhardwaj has a postgraduate diploma (PGDM) in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from XLRI Jamshedpur. He also has a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur.
