Through performance bonus letters, Infosys issued an average of 75% bonus to its employees for the July-September 2025 quarter.
Infosys rates the performance of its employees in job levels 4, 5, and 6 through categories like “outstanding,” “commendable,” and “met expectations.”
Employees at job level 4 whose performance was labelled outstanding for the quarter received an average bonus of around 83%. Those whose performance was deemed commendable received a 78.5% bonus, while those who met expectations received an average bonus of 75%.
According to company sources, the percentage of bonuses decreased as job levels decreased, ranging from 70.5% to 83%. Employees in job level 5 who received an outstanding rating will be given a bonus of 81% while those who met expectations will receive 72%. Similarly, job level 6 employees whose performance was outstanding will be given 79% and those who met expectations will take home a 70.5% bonus.
As per The Economic Times, some employees reported that their bonus for the quarter was approximately 5-7% lower than in the previous quarter. The average bonus payout for the June quarter was 80%, with individual bonuses ranging from 75% to 89%.
“Thank you for being an integral part of the Infosys journey… In line with our organisational goals for building a high-performance work culture, we have continued to drive performance differentiation while closing bonus payouts as well,” Infosys stated in the customary email sent ahead of the release of individual letters.
