Pidilite Industries, a leading name in specialty chemicals, has announced a key transition in its Human Resources leadership. The company has appointed Ashish Prasad as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), succeeding Rahul Gama, who has resigned from the position. Gama, who tendered his resignation on November 11, 2025, will continue to serve until January 31, 2026, to facilitate a smooth handover. He is stepping down to explore new opportunities beyond the organization.
Pidilite Industries shared confidence that Prasad’s leadership will help strengthen the company’s HR capabilities and support its long-term strategic objectives. With nearly 28 years of diverse experience spanning Sales, Brand Management, Operations, Digital, and Strategy across leading companies in the consumer and retail sectors, he is set to play a pivotal role in shaping Pidilite’s HR strategies and driving business growth.
An IIM Ahmedabad alumnus, Prasad has extensive experience across the building materials, consumer, and retail sectors. Over the years, he has held leadership roles with organizations such as Asian Paints, Teamlease Services, Holcim India-ACC, Ashirvad Pipes, and has also worked with Pidilite in the past.
